On arrival at the scene, officers discovered the lifeless body of a 35-year-old local man named Ashwini Kumar. His throat had been brutally slit, with evidence suggesting the assailant used a shattered liquor bottle. DCP Vichitra Veer of West Delhi confirmed that Singh succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The case, initially filed as an attempt to murder, has been updated to a murder investigation following Singh’s demise.
