Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh: The tranquility of Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh was shattered by a horrifying event that has left the locals in shock. A man, known as Ramla Kol, was apprehended by the police following a brutal attack on his family members.
Horrendous Crime Over Tobacco Refusal
The incident unfolded in the quiet Barkachh village, under the jurisdiction of the Beohari police station. The accused, a 30-year-old man named Ramla Kol, reportedly requested tobacco from his brother’s wife, Sukkhi Bai. When she informed him that she didn’t have any, the situation took a deadly turn.
According to the local police, Kol barged into his sister-in-law’s home around 11 pm. The victims were fast asleep when the enraged man attacked them with an axe. Tragically, the attack resulted in the death of a five-year-old boy and caused serious injuries to Sukkhi Bai.
Aftermath of the Incident
Following the gruesome event, the accused managed to escape from the scene. The injured woman, Sukkhi Bai, was rushed to the hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment. However, the young boy couldn’t survive the vicious attack and succumbed to his injuries.
The police have since arrested Kol and charged him under section 302 (murder) and other appropriate provisions of the Indian Penal Code. They are currently delving further into the incident.
Another Disturbing Incident
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time such an incident has occurred. Last year, there was a similar case in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. A man named Shahid Hussain stabbed his wife with scissors after she refused to give him money to buy fried chicken. Even though she eventually bought the chicken, the argument escalated, leading to the brutal attack.
