Tragically, Anshu Kumar, one of the students on the motorcycle, was pronounced dead upon arrival at AIIMS. His friend Vishal Kumar, who was riding pillion, is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital and is in critical condition. Additionally, the two pedestrians, Sachin and Mrigank Yadav, sustained injuries and have also been hospitalized.
Anshu Kumar, a first-year student studying Russian language at JNU, was residing at the Sutlej Hostel. The police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are conducting an investigation into the matter.
